Trump intimidated by large crowd Beto O’Rourke drew in El Paso
The president visited El Paso, Texas, on Monday night to give a speech in defense of his border wall. At the same exact time, and literally, right across the street, former Congressman and El Paso born, Beto O’Rourke, held a counter protest in the form of a march against the wall followed by a rally.
Trump made sure to take the time out to mock Beto’s crowd size (“a tiny little line”) which was ridiculous since it is easily proven that Beto’s event had the same amount, if not more than, Trump’s. What’s more ridiculous is that our president, the leader of the free world, the most powerful person on earth, is worried about crowd sizes.
Remember his Presidential Inauguration 2017 when Trump claimed that the media made his crowd look smaller than it was, and, then press secretary, Sean Spicer said, “This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration — period — both in person and around the globe.”
