Hypocrite – Oil sketch by Nicole Jeffords, design by Randi Turkin
It’s hard to be kind to you, Mr. Trump. History certainly won’t be. And look at you in your golfing duds, you who make fun of fat people and the handicapped. Look at your very wide, unattractive bottom — quite the symbol! — as you go play golf while America burns and the country suffers from a pandemic you consider a hoax. Well, you’re the hoax Mr. “President.” While you pretend to be a patriot, you have denigrated our wounded veterans, our greatest heroes, as “losers” and “suckers.” I suppose you consider it unmanly to get shot at, injured or taken prisoner in a war, as, for instance, John McCain was. Well, I consider it unmanly to cancel a visit to the Aisne-Marne American cemetery outside of Paris because your hair might get ruined in the rain, or because you just don’t feel it’s particularly important to honor American soldiers dumb or foolish enough to get killed in war. Can’t have it both ways, Mr. Trump. Either you’re a president who takes pride in our troops, wounded or otherwise, or you’re a weakling and false patriot who derides them. Either way, you’ve managed to play golf 289 times since you entered office… and it doesn’t look like you’ve bothered to do much else, unless you want to talk about negative stuff like separating parents from children at the border, or putting out mind blowing propaganda about how wonderful you are (not).
