Welp. Trump has gone and threatened Kim Jong-Un, affectionately known now as Rocket Man, with total destruction. His exact words during his first UN Speech were, “The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime.”
Trump’s speech was written by none other than Stephen Miller, the creepy little rat exalted by the likes of Stephen Bannon and Trump himself. (We will have more on him later.) In the meantime, you can read the full speech here. You can also watch the video at that link if your eyes and ears can stomach Trump’s orange face, bad hair, hand motions and holier than thou tone of voice.
On a lighter note, there are some brilliant cartoonists who have reacted to the UN Speech by resisting the best way they know how: through humor and art. See here.
