Roseanne: Whoops… Unemployed Again

From the Editors 7 months ago

Roseanne, an American loudmouth, fired for racist remarks

roseanne

Oh, Roseanne. You’re unemployed again.

We all know the nasty things you said about Valerie Jarrett. (If, dear reader, you have been in a cave today, you can catch up here.)

Let’s lay out some of the times her big mouth (or keyboard) has gotten her into trouble:

  • The time she sang the Star Spangled Banner holding her fingers in her ears and not singing, but screaming. The experience has been dubbed the “Barr Strangled Banner” and has been condemned as the worst national anthem performance of all times. As she was booed off the stage, she grabbed her crotch and spat at the ground. Classy.
  • She posed as Adolf Hitler putting cookies shaped like people in an oven for the satirical Jewish-themed publication, Heeb.
  • Earlier this year Roseanne flipped off Jimmy Kimmel when he called her out on being one-time friends with Hillary Clinton who she has called a murderer.
  • She’s a political provocateur who spreads fake news and conspiracies on Twitter, like the recent time she claimed that Trump played a key role in taking down multiple child trafficking rings led by — you guessed it — Clinton, Obama, Podesta — you know, the usual suspects.

President Trump has freed so many children held in bondage to pimps all over this world. Hundreds each month. He has broken up trafficking rings in high places everywhere. notice that. I disagree on some things, but give him benefit of doubt-4 now.

We feel sorry for her cast mates, in that they are all out of a job because Roseanne couldn’t keep her ugly thoughts to herself, but glad the show has been cancelled. Regardless of its rock star ratings the first season back, we couldn’t stomach even one episode. SAD… we loved the original.

** The model in this portrait by Nicole Jeffords is not actually Roseanne Barr. But many people who have viewed the painting think it is. So we decided to play just this one time.
